The demand for ammonia bunkering is expected to increase as the maritime industry strives to decarbonize. A new insight brief from the Getting to Zero Coalition and the Global Maritime Forum shows that ammonia is likely to be the most competitive pathway from the mid-2030s onwards, even without rewards and increased RU prices. This suggests that ammonia dual-fuel vessels could be a preferred option already today.
