GreenPort Congress is a meeting place for the port community to discuss and learn the latest in sustainable environmental practice. It offers ways to reduce their carbon foot print and be more sensitive to environmental considerations, both of which are vital to future success.

 GreenPort Congress 2025 will take place from 15–17 October 2025 in the historic city of Valletta, Malta. This year’s event will be proudly hosted by Transport Malta, in collaboration with EOPSA, and co-located with the highly anticipated Shore to Ship Conference. 

The Port of Valletta, Malta’s principal maritime gateway, blends centuries of maritime tradition with modern infrastructure, serving as a hub for cargo, cruise, and ferry operations in the heart of the Mediterranean. Complementing this is Malta Freeport, a leading transshipment hub in the region, offering state-of-the-art container terminal facilities and strategic connectivity that supports global trade routes and Malta’s role as a vital logistics center.
